“We Can’t Help”

She heard this every time she entered the office. This time, she was determined to know why. There was no reason she could not get help.

She was deserving. As a mother of three, she could use the boost. She is hard working. No one seems to see it that way.

There are requirements for every little thing – every little piece of help she wants to receive. She doesn’t meet this requirements because she makes $10 over the required monthly income. How sad.

Does she need a bone? I wouldn’t even call it that. This is a woman with three children. Her daily commute is reliant on her two feet. These are the same two feet who carry her children around the home and she prepares dinner and prepares the children for bed.

We should be more forgiving.
